Dear Division D Members and Leaders,
As we publish the final edition of the Division D Magazine for this Toastmasters year, I would like to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you.
Serving as your Division D Director has been one of the greatest honors of my Toastmasters journey. From Tanzania, my home country, to Ethiopia and our online clubs in Kenya, I have had the privilege of working alongside remarkable leaders and members who have dedicated their time, energy, and passion to making a positive difference.
Thank you to every Club Officer, Area Director, District Leader, mentor, and member who contributed to the growth and success of Division D. Your service created an impact. Your commitment strengthened clubs. Your leadership inspired others. Together, we built not only stronger clubs but also stronger communities and stronger leaders.
Throughout this journey, I witnessed countless examples of Toastmasters values in action—Respect, Integrity, Service, and Excellence. These principles are not just words; they are the foundation upon which we grow as communicators, leaders, and human beings. I encourage you to continue carrying these values wherever your journey takes you.
I want you to know that while I may be concluding my term as Division D Director, my relationship with all of you does not end here. The friendships, memories, lessons, and experiences we shared will always hold a special place in my heart. They are not merely memories; they are emotions that I will cherish for years to come.
Personally, this experience has transformed me. I leave this role as a better servant leader than I was yesterday. The challenges, successes, conversations, and collaborations have taught me lessons that no book or classroom ever could.
As I step into the next chapter of my leadership journey, please know that my door will always remain open. Feel free to reach out whenever you need support, guidance, a listening ear, or simply a friend in Toastmasters. I will always be happy to help in any way I can.
My final message to all of you is simple:
Be thankful.
Be grateful for your journey, your growth, your challenges, and your opportunities. Appreciate every meeting, every speech, every leadership role, every mentor, every friend, and every moment. Life moves quickly, and often the moments we take for granted become the memories we treasure most.
Continue learning. Continue serving. Continue leading. Continue growing.
